Rivers & Ranges 2 Day Motorcycle Adventure Tour

A true cross-border adventure through rivers, ranges, and historic country towns, this two-day tour takes you from Queensland into northern New South Wales and back again, following iconic adventure riding routes along the Great Dividing Range.
Day 1 – Boonah to Tenterfield
Starting in Boonah, QLD, we head out via White Swamp, crossing into NSW and riding along Paddy’s Flat Road. Along the way, we explore the historic WWII Tank Traps while crossing the Clarence River, before stopping in the small country town of Drake for lunch. From there, we ride the well-known and much-loved Rocky River Road, a favourite among adventure riders, before arriving in Tenterfield for our overnight stay.
Accommodation is twin-share pub-style, with a relaxed local atmosphere. All meals and drinks for lunch and dinner are at the rider’s expense, with dinner enjoyed at a local pub.
Day 2 - Tenterfield to Boonah
Day two begins with a ride through Girraween National Park — meaning “place of flowers” — famous for its massive granite outcrops and stunning natural scenery. We stop at the Pyramids and visit the new Girraween Visitor Centre before continuing on to Storm King Dam.
From there, we roll into Stanthorpe for a relaxed lunch stop at a locally owned business, before heading toward Killarney via sections of the historic Rabbit Proof Fence. This leg features rural, largely unsealed roads, including riding close to the fence line.
To finish the adventure, we take on the iconic Condamine River Road and Condamine Gorge, featuring 10+ creek crossings, before returning to Boonah.
